General Terms & Booking Conditions
for the holiday apartments Ferienwohnung am Skihang Rehefeld · As of: 30 August 2026
1. Scope
These booking conditions apply to all rental agreements for the holiday apartments of the property Ferienwohnung am Skihang Rehefeld (hereinafter the “landlord”). By sending a booking request, the guest accepts these conditions.
2. Conclusion of contract
The booking process consists of booking request, confirmation and payment:
- The guest's booking request via the booking form on the website (or by e-mail) is a non-binding offer to conclude a rental agreement. Sending the booking request does not yet create a contract.
- The rental agreement comes into being only upon the express confirmation of the booking request by the landlord (by e-mail).
- With the confirmation, the landlord asks the guest to pay the total amount (see § 3). The booking becomes finally binding once payment has been received in full.
3. Payment terms
3.1 Due date
After the landlord has confirmed the booking request, the total amount is payable within 7 days . For arrivals at short notice (less than 7 days before the day of arrival), the payment period is 48 hours.
3.2 Method of payment
Payment is made conveniently and securely via a personal online payment link which the guest receives by e-mail together with the confirmation. Available are credit card, SEPA direct debit and PayPal; processing is handled by the payment service provider Stripe. Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe and is not stored by the landlord.
3.3 Payment reminders
If payment is not received on time, the landlord reminds the guest of the outstanding payment by e-mail (as a rule on the 3rd and 6th day of the payment period).
3.4 Withdrawal in the event of non-payment
If the total amount has not been received in full by the end of the payment period, the landlord is entitled to withdraw from the contract. In that case the reservation is cancelled automatically and the period is released again. The guest is informed of this by e-mail.
4. Prices & services
The prices stated are final prices and include:
- Accommodation
- final cleaning
- water, heating, electricity
- Wi-Fi
- parking space (if available)
Not included are:
- visitor's tax (Kurtaxe), if levied
- additional services by arrangement (e. g. bed linen & towels)
5. Minimum stay
What counts is the day of arrival: the rule of the period into which the arrival falls applies, and it applies to the whole stay.
- 2 nights outside the periods listed below
- 3 nights on the long weekends of Ascension Day and Whitsun
- 6 nights in the periods around the Saxon Easter, summer, autumn and Christmas school holidays
- 7 nights in the Saxon winter holidays – there as a full week from Saturday to Saturday, see section 6.1
The exact periods are shown by the booking calendar ; when you select a date it states the minimum stay applying there. The periods may differ slightly from the school holiday dates, because a stay begins shortly before the holidays start and reaches into them.
Short-notice bookings: If there are fewer than 8 days between booking and arrival, the longer minimum stays do not apply – it then remains at 2 nights. Single nights cannot be booked as a matter of principle.
Periods let by the full week: A stay that begins before such a period must end on its first changeover day at the latest. So you can stay up to the start of the winter holidays, but you cannot book into the holiday week – it is available only as a whole.
Further exceptions are possible by arrangement.
6. Arrival & departure
6.1 Arrival
From 3:00 p.m. or by arrangement.
In the Saxon winter holidays we let by the week: arrival is then only possible on Saturdays , with departure on the following Saturday. Outside these weeks the day of arrival can be chosen freely.
6.2 Departure
By 10:00 a.m. or by arrangement.
6.3 Late departure
Possible only by prior arrangement.
7. Withdrawal / cancellation by the guest
7.1 Cancellation conditions – Flexible rate
The following cancellation periods apply to bookings at the flexible rate. The cancellation scale relates exclusively to the accommodation price. The visitor's tax, the final cleaning and any linen package booked are refunded in full in every case – the visitor's tax is a pass-through item payable to the town of Altenberg and does not arise if there is no arrival; final cleaning and linen package are services that are not performed if the guest does not arrive (expenses saved within the meaning of § 537 para. 1 sentence 2 of the German Civil Code, BGB).
| Period before arrival | Refund of accommodation price | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|---|
| More than 30 days before | 100 % | Free of charge |

| Period | Refund | Note |
|---|---|---|
| At any time | 0 % | No refund, no rebooking possible |
The saver rate offers a 10 % discount on the regular booking price and suits guests whose travel plans are firmly settled.

Payments already made are refunded in full.

12. Final provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the remainder of the contract stays valid. German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, as far as legally permissible, the landlord's registered seat.
